BRIAH & The Antony B Tudor Trust
It is so exciting for the dancers of BRIAH to become a part of the legacy of Antony Tudor - a prolific, inspiring, world known dancer, choreographer with a treasure chest of works that should be shared and passed on. Under the careful coaching of Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner - BRIAH dancers Domenico Luciano and Sharon Wehner will reconstruct and perform Tudor's Romeo & Juliet ~ filled with nuances in movement, gentle phrasing that make this piece a universal and timeless story of love, division, and hope for humanity. Emily Speed and Nicolas Pelletier have been honored to work the beautiful Leaves are Fading Pas de Deux #4 - danced by both Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner at ABT, Washington Ballet and internationally. I love seeing and being a part of this legacy that is being passed down in and through our dancers with the kindness and generosity of spirit in Amanda and John. Previews and performances of Tudor will take place in Denver and Boulder Colorado.
